Georgetown Burglar Arrested With Help From The Community, One Still Sought

El Dorado County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to a report of a commercial burglary in Georgetown on 03/07/2016. Patrol Deputies learned that a local business, Jeepers Jamboree USA, had been victimized. The exterior bathrooms to the business as well as several outbuildings and vehicles belonging to the business had been broken into. Door frames, windows and locks were all damaged during the burglary. Surveillance footage revealed that two suspects were involved in the burglary.

Local residents greatly aided Deputies in identifying the two suspects depicted in the video. Detectives and Deputies then worked together to author a search warrant related to this burglary investigation.  A significant portion of the stolen property was recovered upon execution of the search warrant. This only occurred because of the information provided to us by local residents.
