On August 26th, 2014 at 1630 hours, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to an address off Rim Street in Pollock Pines for a report of a subject making suicidal statements. When deputies arrived, they encountered an agitated adult male. As deputies were speaking with him, he produced a knife and stabbed himself. Paramedics arrived and transported the subject to Marshall Hospital where he later succumbed to his injury. The investigation into the incident is ongoing.
