On June 3rd, 2016 the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office received a report of an inappropriate relationship between an adult male and a female juvenile in our community. An extensive investigation was undertaken by both Patrol Deputies and Sheriff’s Detectives. The suspect was identified as 24 year old Nathan E. Creel of Cameron Park. It was learned that Creel worked at a retail establishment where the victim was a customer.

The investigation led to an arrest warrant being issued for Creel for 288 (C) (1) PC, lewd and lascivious acts with a child at least 10 years younger than the suspect. On the morning of June 23rd, 2016 Sheriff’s Detectives arrested Creel on the above arrest warrant without incident. Further investigation was conducted and Creel was booked on a second charge of 288 (C) (1) PC as well as a charge of 286 (B) (2) PC, sodomy with a victim under 16 years of age.

It should be noted that Creel has worked at retail establishments focusing on sports nutrition in both Folsom and Cameron Park.
