On May 5,2017 a forensic odontology examination was completed in an effort to identify the victim located within a residence that had caught fire on April 28,2017. The victim was identified as 32 year old Josh Nathan Mendel of Pollock Pines. The investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
