On August 8, 2017, at approximately 12:53 pm, two juvenile males robbed the Payless Shoe Store at 3966 Missouri Flat Road.  One male held a knife, as they took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register.  The juveniles fled the store on foot.  A short time later, El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office deputies located the juveniles at In-n-Out Burger, on Forni Rd.   Witnesses and the victim to the crime positively identified the juveniles as the two who had committed the robbery.  Video surveillance was obtained from local businesses, which also confirmed their identity.

El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office detectives interviewed the suspects and then booked them into the El Dorado County Juvenile Hall for the robbery.  It appears this was an isolated incident and no one was injured.
