On January 23, 2018, the body of a man was recovered from the raw water conduit between Jenkinson Lake and EID’s water treatment plant in Pollock Pines. The man has been identified by the El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office as Tory Robert Mayes, a 34 year old out of Pollock Pines. Next of kin notification has been completed.

EID is asking that conservation continue until 5 p.m. at which time normal water operations will resume.
