The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office of Emergency Services has arranged for the Red Cross to provide sleeping accomodations and meals for evacuees of the King Fire,  at a new Evacuation Center located at the Sierra Ridge Middle School, 2700 Amber Trail, Pollock Pines, Ca. Amber Trail is off of Gold Ridge Trail off of Sly Park Road. The Red Cross will be leaving the previously established site at the Pollock Pines Community Center immediately as the location has lost power.

The El Dorado County Chief Administrative Office (CAO) has established a King Fire information line (530-642-7263) and an email adress of kingfireeldoradocounty@gmail.com for questions regaring fire victim assistance, road closures and evacuations.

Cal fire provides an information line (530-647-5218) for questions and information regarding the fire.
