Coroner Investigation

On Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at 0342 hours, EDSO was dispatched to a report of a deceased person at an address in Pollock Pines, Ca. The man has been identified as 67 year old Robert Mardis.

An autopsy was completed this afternoon and the cause of death was determined as Severe Coronary Artery Atherosclerosis. Mardis also had a clinical history of C.O.P.D. The investigation into this death has concluded and this case is considered closed. The power outage from the recent PSPS was not the cause of death. Next of kin notifications have been completed.

Due to the power shutdown, El Dorado Court phones are not operational at any court location. The El Dorado Court website is not operational and Civil tentative rulings will not be posted online.
