King Fire mandatory Evacuation Update

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office has issued a mandatory evacuation for the Crystal Basin- Highway 50 east of Freshpond to Ice House, North on Icehouse to Wentworth Springs, west to just above Quintette to include all campgrounds and businesses.
These areas include: Big Hill Lookout Road, Big Hill Road, Blodgett Forest Road, Bridle Path Way, Forest Road, Frontier Road,Helix Flat Ave,  Icehouse Road (west side), Jones Fork Power House Road, Middle Loop Road, Mosquito Road, Onion Valley Road, Outer Limits Lane, Little Silver Road, Loop Road, Peavine Point Road, Peavine Ridge Road, Piolet Creek Road, Plum Creek Road, Robb’s Peak Road, Sand Mountain Road, Smudea, Spring Road, Sunset Drive, Tricometric Trail,  Wentworth Springs (south side, east of Pilot Creek Road), 11 Pines Road

The current areas are being given a voluntary evacuation warning. All residences south of Highway 50 between Fresh Pond and Riverton.
The Valcanoville area is also being given the voluntary evacuation notice.
 The Red Cross has established an evacuation shelter at the Seventh Day Adventist Church located at 3520 Carson Road in Camino.

Mandatory Evacuation Mosquito/Swansboro

The El Dorado County Sheriff’s Office is issuing a mandatory evacuation order for all residences in the entire community of Swansboro and Mosquito due to the King wildland fire. All residences are to evacuate driving south on Mosquito Road to Placerville. Only large vehicles and trailers are to use Rock Creek Road due to incoming firetrucks and emergency personnel. The Red Cross has established an evacuation shelter at the Seventh Day Adventist Church located at 3520 Carson Road in Camino.
